The Rev. Murray D. Finck is an ordained Lutheran minister, serving the Lutheran faith community since 1975. He served three parishes as pastor, and has been called to work in the judicatory level of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America since 1993. He was elected synodical bishop in 1998. He has traveled extensively and has studied or experienced the spirituality of various religions, cultures, peoples and faiths worldwide. Bishop Finck has been married for 30 years to his spouse, Rhoda, a school teacher. The Finck's have three children, all living in southern California and attending various universities there.
